Past the bicyclists is my work station, set up when I am actually in residence at Omineca Arts Centre. Right next to the table where my sewing machine is set up is another doll. The picture below is her "formal" picture. She's actually sitting cross-legged on an old sewing machine table at Omineca.
Adventurous One (2012) Fabric and misc. items.
The owner of this doll is bright, adventurous, athletic, caring and on her way to becoming a nun. At the time the doll was made, she was biking, participating in triathlons and on the UVic rowing team. Now she bikes, hikes, bakes and creates fabulous bowls, boxes and more in the monastery’s woodworking shop.
