Recently, I read a book called "Collage Fusion" by Alma de la Melena Cox. In it, the author demonstrates a collage method that combines paint, wood and fabric -- three of my favourite mediums -- along with woodburning. Since I was still teaching Picasso's Playgroup for Adults at Two Rivers Gallery, and since I wanted to try a new technique, I combined work and pleasure and came up with the following as an example for my class:

I had a lot of fun making it and am looking forward to experimenting more with this fun fusion of materials.
PS. The prom dress is finished, prom is over, and I have a bit more time to play.
